• Meisai is a file viewer for the Open Financial Exchage (OFX) file format.
• After downloading an OFX file for your bank account, you can view it through Meisai just like your bank book.
• Meisai shows a tabbed page for each bank account described in the OFX file.
• Meisai runs on Ubuntu.
• You can use Meisai for free.

Usage (Menu Description)

File	Open...	Opens an OFX file and reads the financial data. If a file is already open, closes it then opens a new OFX file.
	Add...	Adds the financial data in another OFX file.
	Save	Saves the financial data to the current file.
	Save As...	Saves the financial data to the file with a new file name you choose.
	1.<file name 1>	Opens the file shown here. There are four at maximum. They are last opened files.
	2.<file name ２>
	3.<file name ３>
	4.<file name ４>
	Print...	Shows Print Preview window with Print button.
	Quit	Quits Meisai.
Edit	Delete Above	Deletes the selected line and all the lines above it.
	Delete Below	Deletes the selected line and all the lines below it.
	Font...	Opens the Font dialog. You can specify font type and font size. The specified font is used to display the financial data.
Help	About	Displays information about the current version of Meisai.

Note: You can specify a file to open in the command line. Otherwise, Meisai tries to open the last opened file on startup.

Download and Install on Ubuntu

1. Download the following files.
   

   meisai_2.2.3_all.deb	Package file
   samples.tar.gz	Example OFX files:   Sample.ofx (Japanese)   Sample4.ofx (English)

2. Double-click on the downloaded file meisai_2.2.3_all.deb.
   Ubuntu Software will start and show meisai.
3. Click on the Install button there.
   Meisai will be installed.

• To uninstall Meisai, launch Ubuntu Software and find Meisai then click on the Remove button.
  In case Meisai is not found, try again after logout and login.

Revision History

• Version 2.0 -> 2.1:
  • Balance value was not always saved correctly after editing the OFX file.
    This bug was fixed.
  • Changes made to the file were discarded when opening a new file via drag-and-drop.
    Now you will be asked if you want to save the changes.
• Version 2.1 -> 2.2:
  • There was a chance that translation for Qt components failed.
    This bug was fixed.
